Large park in Maidstone covering 450 acres, it included grassland, woodland, rivers and a 30-acre lake.

The scale of the map is 1:10000 which means that 1 cm on the map is equal to 100 metres on the ground. The steepness of the area is shown by thin brown contour lines. The closer together the contour lines, the steeper the area.

The Permanent Orienteering Course - The POC map has 25 checkpoints to visit.
- visit as many as you like in any order
- or choose to follow one of 3 suggested courses (list of controls in order you should visit are included on the information sheet) ranging from 2.2km to 5.4km.
- you can also complete the POC as a 60 minute Score course using MapRun per below
The Virtual Orienteering Course using MapRun has 3 linear courses from 2.1km to 4.9km, and you can also complete a Score course based on the POC checkpoints getting as many of the identified checkpoints within a 60min time period.
