Event Report

Our thanks go to the Woodland Trust for permission to hold this Christmas round of the Kent Night Cup at Hargate. We were fortunate with the pleasant weather, and the ground had dried out a bit during the previous week. In the results, where people have visited a single control I have left that in the split times but deducted the 10 points.

Please note that in some cases (eg Jean with control 101) a control was visited a second time to make the dumbell. This second visit is not shown in the Results presented.

I am grateful to Bohdan, Graham and Nick & Sarah Jane Barrable for collecting controls.

Happy Christmas and New Year - the next round is at Tilgate Golf course, courtesy SO, on 6th January

Explanation of Score courses

You don't have to visit all the controls! There is usually a time limit, instead of a set course. Points are scored for visiting controls, and deducted for finishing over the time limit. You decide which controls to visit, and in which sequence. Sometimes controls have different points values. You will need to carry a watch or phone, so you know how long you have been out.
