This activity is open to Saxons members.
We will be using a specially created Urban map of Marden, Scale 1:5000. Many thanks to Bill Griffiths for taking the time to create it.
Timing will be SI, but the controls will not be SIAC enabled. Please bring your dibber. The event is mostly on housing estate roads and local footpaths. There are some bits of parkland too. Road shoes and shorts should be sufficient unless there is bad weather.
If you have any questions about the event please contact me at
Please remember that COVID restrictions will still be in place when this event takes place. Do apply your usual COVID common sense; this means maintaining social distance at the start, finish, download and whilst on the course. Please also make use of the hand sanitiser. Remind others of any transgression to help ensure the event operates as safely as possible.
This is an urban event with the usual risks relating to vehicular traffic and bumping into pedestrains. Please take care out on the course: cross any roads safely, and avoid running around any blind bends. Do give way to other path users.
