Registration & Start Times
Registration from 10:15, in the car park.
Starts between 11:00 to 12:00 (courses close at 1pm). Start times will not be pre-allocated. Start when you are ready.
Finish will be near the start.
Course Information
60 min score event. Do controls in 90 series or controls in 100 series, then switch over on control 111 to the other series. You can only switch once.
45 min score event: Junior and beginners. Find controls in any order in 45 minutes. A Christmas reward awaits you at the finish
Penalty 1 point for every minute late.

You decide which controls to visit, and in which sequence. Sometimes controls have different points values. You will need to carry a watch or phone, so you know how long you have been out.

Terrain Description
Woodland with a good path network, and a steep escarpment. You can choose to keep on the flat on the top, or down the slope.
1:7,500 scale map with 5m contours, updated 2015. Maps will be printed on A4 waterproof paper.

Covid-19:
Before travelling to any orienteering event please make sure you are aware of and following government lockdown rules. To enable us to maintain social distancing requirements, we will not be offering coaching to beginners at the start. If you havent tried orienteering before and need guidance please contact our head coach in the first instance.
To ensure that we comply with Government and British Orienteering guidelines and make our events Covid secure and safe for participants and volunteers, all events will be pre-entry and pre-payment only.
During the on-line entry process, you will select your preferred start window from those available for your course. You must then make payment to reserve your start window. Please do not turn up at the event unless you have pre-entered.
On event day turn up for your allocated start slot

Please move away from the map box after collecting your map.
At control sites do not touch the control, and move through quickly.
Do not congregate at the Finish.
