Four events in northern Belgium

Four Saxons on a combined orienteering and tourism trip

Tue 6 Jun 2017

The orienteering clubs in northern Belgium put on a fine series of events over their early June Bank Holiday weekend, from Friday evening to Monday morning. The events were all within 10km of Lommel, near the border with Holland - 2m contour interval was the order of the day!

A five day excursion meant that sightseeing in Ghent and Lommel could be included, together with a BBQ with Mark & Julie Collins of Dartford. There was the opportunity for a catch up with Bill (former Chairman) and Pauline Griffiths as well.
