Alison Howe elected as British Orienteering Non Executive Director
At the British Orienteering AGM last Saturday, Alison Howe was elected as a non independent director of British Orienteering. Alison joins the 11 person board with the responsibility to constructively challenge and contribute to strategy of British Orienteering and oversee governance of the organisation.
The Board meets 7 or 8 times a year in face to face meetings and consists of 6 directors elected by the membership, 4 independent directors including the Chair, and the Chief Executive - Peter Hart.
