More Overseas Success for Saxons
In early November Sarah Howes went off to Italy for the XXXVIII Venice Orienteering Meeting which involves lots of fun navigating around the intricate pattern of streets, alleyways, squares, canals and bridges that make up Venice.
This event is a double header with a night sprint on Saturday evening followed by a ‘shortened long’ on Sunday morning. Aqua alta on Sunday morning meant wet feet for everyone!
Sarah placed 4/38 (Sat) and 4/37 (Sun) in W60 meaning third place overall.
A fantastic event which is highly recommended!
