SE Night ChampionshipsPodium place for Simon Blanchflower at Addington Hills

7 Saxons were attracted by the terrain description 'Probably the most complex contoured area within M25. Mixture of open woodland and heathland with some areas of holly and more dense woods.'

The event fully merited Championship status. It's fine terrain, and the map and courses were spot on. The trap for some was starting by hitting controls bang on, leading to complacency, then missing one and finding it tricky to relocate, because of the similarities of re-entrants and paths. Nearly 3 mins for a 50m leg? what's that about?!

Saxons' best performance was by Simon Blanchflower, with Bronze in M65-M75 - great stuff.
