Kent Night Cup Round 16 - Enchanted Place, Ashdown Forest - Thursday, January 15th, 2009

Location/Parking: Gills Lap car park at TQ467315 where the B2026 meets Kidds Hill. SSW of Hartfield 

Public transport
: Nearest station is Crowborough but a fair way from the event unfortunately! 

Area/Map
: 1:10,000. 5m contours. Pre-marked A4. Maps will be waterproof but bring a bag if you like. One of Saxons classic areas. Pooh Bear country!


Times:
Registration from 19.00 onwards. There will be a mass start at 19.30 from the car park.

60 minute score. Course closes 2030. Controls being collected from 2035 (volunteers required please!)


Equipment:
SPORT IDENT Dibbers if you don't have one. Compass and whistle highly advised. Descriptions on map only. Some sort of torch and a small back up/reserve necessary.


Cost:
£1 to cover cost of maps.


Course:
Suitable for all abilities. 20 controls total - mixture of 'easyish' and somewhat 'harder'.


Prizes:
A select few – of grandeur to reflect entry fee – at the pub afterwards. If you have any unwanted Xmas gifts, please bring them along to add to the 'pot'.
