Knole isn't an easy place to plan with all its restrictions and bracken. The bracken was substantially more ferocious 2 weeks ago, but with the cold weather, and a few tweaks to Simon's courses, believe me, he kept you out of the worst of it!  Unfortunately control 78, no 6 on Brown, was misplaced on a knoll 50m to the south of where it should've been.  It has therefore been decided to remove the legs either side of this control as some people found it while others found the tape on the correct feature. Apologies.  With hindsight it would have helped if the gates/crossing points were more clearly marked on the maps to aid route choice between enclosures, but overall it was a lovely day to be out enjoying some orienteering.
