W60 success for Saxons at the British Night Championships, Hambleden
Sarah Howes was amongst 340 taking part in the National Night Championships in the Chiltern Hills, and took a podium place with 3rd in W60.
It was the first use of Hambleden for a night competition, and it proved ideal. Good course planning demanded accuracy and fitness in quite hilly, yet fast terrain.
Thames Valley OC are to be congratulated on providing a successful weekend of orienteering - the Chiltern Challenge, with 675 competitors, was held at the same venue on the Sunday.
