Whitstable Orienteering Weekend 7 and 8 October
Level C middle distance and level B Urban events
The results from both events are now available, together with some comments about Sunday's Whitstable race
Whitstable offered a nice variety: quaint streets and smugglers cut-throughs, the promenade and shingle beach, and Tankerton slopes. It was bright and sunny for those hanging controls - Sarah Howes captured this fine view of the beach huts and 'The Street' promontory.
Assembly, Start and Finish were conveniently located at the west side of a recreation ground, making the logistics simple. Mike Perry's courses and David Kingdon's map were well received; thanks go to the helpers (who also managed to run in the event).
